ClearPlex UK are sponsors of Horsepower Racing’s Porsche GT3 for the upcoming race season, which will feature the ClearPlex™ brand logo. Race driver Paul Bailey, although a relatively recent contender in the racing scene, has achieved a great deal of success since first indulging in his passion for motorsport in 2010, and ClearPlex UK are thrilled to be associated with the team.
The Rutland-based driver won the Pirelli Ferrari Open at the first time of asking and has been a feature in the Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship ever since, finishing runner-up in Class 1 with a Ferrari 430 GT2 in 2012, before taking top honours the following year with an unrestricted Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3.
In addition, Bailey and teammate Andy Schulz sealed the 2013 Avon Tyres British GTC title with a Ferrari 458 Challenge, and both championships proved to be precursors to a maiden full-time British GT campaign in striking GT3-spec Aston Martin machinery under the Horsepower Racing with TF Sport banner.
Now driving the Porsche GT3, Paul is taking to the road with the help of ClearPlex™ windscreen protection film. “We’re thrilled to be installing ClearPlex™ on the Horsepower Racing team supercars,” Ben Robinson, Managing Director of ClearPlex UK commented. “To be partnering with the team gives us a really exciting opportunity, and we’re eager to put our money where our mouth is and show just what ClearPlex™ can do!”
